While the business was founded in 2014, the shop's origins trace back to 2006, when Sionnach, Ealdgyth, and two other members of their coven conceived the idea. As young Witches in the early 2000s, they aimed to engage with the Pagan community by offering ritual and magickal wares in a retail shop. Their goal, beyond retail, was to operate the business together as a coven, manage a temple, and provide services such as rituals and energy work.

In 2024, nearly eighteen years after that initial vision, Ealdgyth and Hawkeye joined the Queen's Grove as working Witches and contributors, each bringing their unique skills honed through years of study and practice, in addition to academic backgrounds in religious studies, history, and anthropology. Now, with the shop in three capable hands and with the support of the rest of their coven, Sionnach, Ealdgyth, and Hawkeye are expanding the service menu to include divination, channeled readings, related workshops, educational lectures, and the reintroduction of energy healing sessions.

This collaborative leadership will enable the business to grow and reach more potential customers, clients, and students.

The Queen's Grove offers a fresh approach to Witchcraft and Pagan spirituality, bolstered by the strength of an experienced and bonded coven. With Ealdgyth and Sionnach practicing together for nearly 20 years and Hawkeye working alongside them for nearly 15, they have worked together to develop their own magickal tradition.  And in both their personal practices, and in their work, adapt ancient spirituality and traditions into modern life and culture.  Together, the Witches of the Grove are eager to work, foster positive relationships and build bridges in their community.
