Where we came from...
I started my business, originally called Tree of Life Energy Medicine, back in 2014 when it was just my husband Tav and I, when lived in Maine. I only offered reiki and crystal healing sessions. Over time, I began making jewelry, and then in 2016, we added candles and incense and basic ritual supplies in addition to energy healing. In 2018, we re-branded as the Queen's Grove and were officially a Witch and Pagan shop, with healing services being secondary. In 2019, I added classes and workshops, in 2020 Tiktok. As of 2023, post-pandemic, my shop is closer to my original vision from 2007.

Where we're going...
Our family (pictured left) moved to Worcester in summer 2018. With the move came opportunities for me to expand and attend more events. Before, I primarily did fairs in Maine. Now I am able to attend events in my home state of Massachusetts and Rhode Island and have family to help me!
The mission of the shop has always been to promote education, connection, and exploring of Neo Pagan spirituality and Witchcraft. We should be challenging ourselves to always learn and grow and we understand that we never stop learning. My goals have always been to help beginners get started on their journey and to encourage and support all practitioners in all our spiritual and magick communities. I'm committed to helping our traditions grow and thrive.
The Queen's Grove is primarily focused on Witchcraft as well as Celtic, Norse, and Saxon Paganism and history. As a shop, we serve our customers by providing them with quality spiritual products, including our own handcrafted items, but more than that, we want to be available to answer questions, help new practitioners as they forge their paths, and connect with all members of our diverse Pagan community. Our goals for 2023 (post-Covid, yay!) include attending more events, networking and connecting with new colleagues, expanding to add new courses and workshops, and improving our retail offerings. My personal goals include furthering my own learning by attending workshops and reading, and hopefully joining a Pagan group.
When I was a new Witch, the metaphysical shop was the place to go for books, supplies, gatherings, and classes. Fast-forward and my shop, healing practice, and workshops and classes are the results of over a decade of goal-setting, planning, and manifesting. I've always wanted to own this shop and I'm so happy that with my family helping me, I am able to do this work.

About Bettina
Bettina is the owner of The Queen's Grove and is the primary craftsperson and teacher. Also known as Sionnach, the Irish and Gaelic word for 'fox', Bettina has been studying and practicing Witchcraft and Celtic Paganism since 2002, but had been intrigued by magick and nature spirituality since childhood. The first book she read when she was 14 was "Teen Witch" by Silver RavenWolf. Since then, she has grown and developed her own unique identity and specialties. She's experimented with herbs, crystals, types of meditations, explored various pantheons and more.
While a freshman in college in 2008, Bettina founded and organized her university's student club for Pagans and Witches on campus.
In 2009, Bettina's clan (or coven) was officially founded after some years of casual practice between her and three of her close friends. She became a co-high priestess with one of her best friends. The clan currently is still active.
In 2011, Bettina began learning about reiki and received level I attunement as a way to help her manage her chronic illnesses.
Bettina graduated with a BA in English in 2013, having studied creative writing, screenwriting, and filmmaking, as well as a minor in religious studies where she explored anthropology, ancient civilizations, the Bible and Christianity, Buddhism, and more.
In 2014, she achieved level II and III attunement in the Usui system. At this time, she also began studying crystal healing more in depth. In the fall of 2014, she founded Tree of Life Energy Medicine which evolved into the re-branded Queen's Grove in 2018. The shop got its new name both because of Bettina's Celtic and Druidic spirituality and interests, giving nod to the sacred Groves of the Druids, a life-long love of the forest, and because of Bettina's fascination with royalty, monarchy, and history. (Bettina performed as Queen Victoria before the pandemic.) During the pandemic, there were no opportunities for in-person learning so Bettina turned to Tiktok where her channel, focused on Witchcraft and Paganism, continues to grow.
Bettina lives in her home state of Massachusetts with her family where she spends her days as a full-time mom, Tiktoker, writer, and of course, shop owner. She loves singing, she has written a novel and hopes to be published, loves filmmaking, she is a history buff, loves nature walks, and is always up for board games and tacos.
